Preview Round 4
8/20/2009 8:42:37 PM

Another positive round in the Eredivisie picking up an additional +3.17 units bringing the season total to +13.30 units. The fourth round is knocking on the door with FC Utrecht and NEC not coming into action over the weekend, but still eight games to choose from. Let's take a look…..

Vitesse – ADO Den Haag, 22 August 2009 18:45 CET

Vitesse remains without a win this season after the 1-0 defeat on the road to SC Heerenveen last Saturday. The team played a decent game but once again did not manage to find the net with Kolk (att) and Nilsson (att) failing to net the equalizer after an early opener from the hosts. In the second half Vitesse grabbed some more control of the game but despite a handful of possibilities and two good chances the team remains on one scored goal in three games. Vitesse will host ADO Den Haag on Saturday looking for their first win of the season, but with the absence of goals this may be very hard to accomplish. Verhaegh (def) is expected to remain sidelined for the game against ADO Den Haag after picking up a groin injury while second and third goalkeeper Graafland (gk) and Van der Sman (gk) are not expected to be fit in time.

ADO Den Haag suffered their second home defeat of the season losing 0-1 to FC Twente. Last season the hosts were total outplayed by a strong FC Twente and with this fresh in their memories ADO Den Haag started the match with a lot of hard fouls. Within five minutes two yellow cards were issued and this clearly had its impact on the visitors who did not manage to create a lot of chances. In the second half it was FC Twente opening the score and with ADO Den Haag trying to force their way to the equalizer in the last fifteen minutes of the game, the hosts did not succeed and dropped to the 15th place in the ranking. ADO Den Haag will welcome back Van den Bergh (mid) and Soltani (att) from suspension for the game against Vitesse while also Waterman (gk) seems recovered and able to play. Rankovic (mid) and Knopper (mid) will remain sidelined with long-term injuries.

Odds for Vitesse can be found around $1.73 but given the fact the team really seems to have a problem in finding the net -scoring only once in their last three games- puts me off a little. ADO Den Haag will welcome back Soltani (att) and Van den Bergh (mid) which will bring back speed and creativity in the team and I can see ADO scoring on the break here. Taking Van den Bergh (mid) to score anytime above $4.00 might seem worth taking, but at this point this game is a not bet for me.

Willem II – Heracles Almelo, 22 August 2009 19:45 CET

Willem II suffered their second defeat of the season last Sunday losing 2-1 on the road to Sparta Rotterdam. The visitors knew a good start of the game and the presence of Kargbo (def) and Boutahar (mid) on the midfield clearly made a difference. After thirteen minutes the visitors translated their supremacy into a goal with Biemans (att) scoring his first goal of the season. In the second half Willem II gave away their lead within five minutes with the hosts scoring twice halfway the second half. Willem II tried to force their way to the (would have been) deserved equalizer but Mourad (att) saw his effort bounce back from the post in the dying minutes of the game. Willem II will host Heracles Almelo on Sunday and will most likely still be without Akgun (mid), Demouge (att) and Schenkel (def). Freire (mid) will remain sidelined with a hamstring injury and is not expected to return for another six weeks.

Heracles Almelo dropped to the ninth place in the ranking after losing 0-1 at home to Feyenoord last Sunday. The hosts started aggressively looking to repeat their performance against AZ (3-2) from two weeks ago, but Overtoom (att) found the Feyenoord goalkeeper on his way to glory. In the second half both teams went looking for the winning goal in which Feyenoord was the luckiest twenty minutes from time. Heracles Almelo will travel to Tilburg on Saturday to meet Willem II and Verbeek will have a fully fit selection at his disposal apart from the long term injured Steur (att).

This seems typically a game that can go either way and it's hard to judge at this point what the strength of both teams are. Willem II played a good game against Vitesse (3-1) and a decent game against Sparta (2-1) but failed to impress in their game against FC Utrecht. Heracles played a very good game against AZ (3-2), but were nothing more than average in their games against Feyenoord (0-1) and NAC Breda (0-0). With Willem II having the home advantage it's hard to see them lose if they are able to keep the pressure on Heracles Almelo who will most likely have a defensive approach to this game. With odds above evens for the home win I will try my chances on the home side with small stakes.

Willem II to win $2.34 (2/10) (Betfair)

VVV Venlo – FC Groningen, 22 August 2009 20:45 CET

VVV Venlo kept their undefeated record last Sunday drawing 2-2 on the road to FC Utrecht with once again Honda (mid) finding the net. The visitors grabbed the lead very early in the first half with Calabro (att) opening the score after an assist from Honda (mid). Ten minutes later FC Utrecht leveled the score and the hosts grabbed the lead ten minutes into the second half. However, once again the creativity and scoring power of Honda (mid) was underestimated with FC Utrecht leaving the revelation of the season with too much space on the midfield and from the edge of the box Honda (mid) scored his fourth goal of the season with VVV Venlo grabbing their third consecutive draw. The team will host FC Groningen on Sunday and VVV Venlo will be able to field their strongest selection with only Timisela (def) being doubtful after picking up a leg injury/

FC Groningen recorded a 1-2 defeat at home to NAC Breda last Sunday with the team remaining in the lower regions of the ranking. Once again the team did not manage to impress although the hosts managed to prevent NAC Breda from creating any huge chances. Shortly before halftime it were the visitors taking the lead after a razor sharp counter attack leaving the FC Groningen defense toothless and seven minutes into the second half a corner kick was poorly defended allowing NAC Breda to double their lead. In the final fifteen minutes of the game FC Groningen finally seemed to wake up putting more pressure on the goal of the visitors and eight minutes from time Van de Laak (att) managed to pull one goal back. However, the hosts were unable to score the equalizer and picked up their second defeat in three games. FC Groningen will travel to VVV Venlo on Saturday and the team will be without the suspended Holla (mid) who picked up a red card against Roda JC while Luciano (gk), Andersson (mid) and Garcia (att) are not expected to be fit in time.

The confidence of VVV Venlo is increasing by the week especially after drawing on the road to both FC Utrecht and PSV. FC Groningen seems to have a motivational problem and the way they played against NAC Breda won't help them much in collecting points. Honda (mid) is the man in form for VVV Venlo and odds for the home win can be found around $2.70 on the exchanges and the 1X option around $1.55.  Given the current form of the teams, their confidence and the possibility for VVV Venlo to field their strongest selection, once again I can not see FC Groningen grabbing a win here.

VVV Venlo not to lose $1.53 (6/10) (Betfair)

AjaxSparta Rotterdam, 23 August 2009 14:30 CET

Ajax suffered their first defeat of the season despite scoring three goals on the road to PSV last Sunday. The visitors opened the score very early in the first half with Suarez (att) picking up the ball from Isaksson (gk) to put it behind the blundering PSV goalkeeper. Five minutes later Ajax could have taken a 0-2 lead but Suarez (att) chipped the ball just inches wide of the goal. Eight minutes from halftime PSV leveled the score from a free kick, but two minutes later Suarez (att) fired Ajax back into the lead. Two quick goals in the second half from the hosts put Ajax on the wrong side of the score but Emanuelson (mid) fired the visitors back into the game. Fifteen minutes from time the visitors had to capitulate with PSV scoring the 4-3, a goal that maybe should have been disallowed after a foul on Wielaert (def).

Sparta Rotterdam grabbed their first win of the season last Saturday booking a 2-1 win over Willem II after being one goal down at halftime. In the second half goals from Strootman (mid) and Poepon (att) allowed the hosts to keep the three points in Rotterdam with Poepon (att) scoring his first competition goal since February 2009. Sparta will travel to Ajax on Sunday and the team will most likely still miss Knol (def), Slot (mid) and Goddee (att) while Touzani (mid) also is not expected to be fit in time. Sparta holds a poor record on the road to Ajax losing their last four meetings in Amsterdam conceding 22 goals.

After their defeat against PSV, Ajax will want to get back on track and secure three points against Sparta on Sunday. Looking at the current form, Suarez (att) scoring for fun, the return of Sulejmani (att) in the starting eleven and the poor record of Sparta in Amsterdam, there seems no other outcome than a clear home win.

Ajax to win AH -1.5 (7/10) (Bet365) in a double with FC Twente $1.88

FC Twente – RKC Waalwijk, 23 August 2009 14:30 CET

FC Twente grabbed their second win of the season away to ADO Den Haag to climb to the top of the ranking. After some hard challenges in the first five minutes of the game by an eager playing home side, FC Twente had some troubles in getting the overhand in the first half resulting in only some small chances. Halfway the second half N'Kufo (att) managed to find the net with his 104th goal for FC Twente, taking over an old club record and securing the three points for the visitors. FC Twente will host bottom dweller RKC Waalwijk on Sunday and team manager McLaren will have the disposal of a fully fit first squad with only Parker (mid) and Rukavytsya (att) missing out.

RKC Waalwijk remains without points so far after a 0-6 trashing by AZ last Saturday. The team are at the bottom of the table and quite frankly, I can not see them getting away from there very quickly with another difficult game scheduled this weekend. RKC Waalwijk had not much to bring against AZ with De Ceulaer (att) sitting the game out with an injury and the hosts did not manage to create any threat up front in the first half. With AZ grabbing an early lead the visitors kept control of the game but it took until the second half for the visitors to really take a distance from the hosts. RKC Waalwijk tried to pull one goal back to erase the zero from the scoreboard but failed to do so and the team will travel to Enschede on Saturday with low self esteem. De Ceulaer (att) and Jongsma (mid) are expected to remain sidelined after missing the game against AZ which will have again its impact on the attacking creativity.

You don't have to be a rocket scientist to predict a home win here since the difference in quality in simply too great for the visitors to be able to cause a surprise. Any outcome other than a home win would be an upset so I will be pairing up with the home side and take them as part of a double.

FC Twente to win (7/10) (Bet365) in a double with Ajax AH -1.5 $1.88

PSV – NAC Breda, 23 August 2009 14:30 CET

PSV grabbed their first win of the season in a goal fest against Ajax with the hosts scoring four times. A huge blunder from Isaksson (gk) allowed the visitors to take the lead in the second minute of the game, but a cannon blast from Dzsudzsak (mid) eight minutes from halftime allowed the hosts to level the score. However, two minutes later it were once again the visitors taking the lead to take a one-goal margin into halftime. Goals from Bakkal (att) and once again Dzsudzsak (mid) within ten minutes in the second half brought the hosts into the lead for the first time. However, another quick goal from Ajax leveled the score four minutes later and both teams were given a couple of decent chances to grab the lead. It were the hosts with the most luck with Bakkal (att) netting the winning goal behind the Ajax goalkeeper fifteen minutes from time with PSV grabbing their first three points of the season to climb to the 7th place in the ranking.

Once again NAC Breda showed their amazing efficiency booking a 1-2 win over FC Groningen last weekend. The visitors grabbed the lead shortly before halftime from a razor-sharp counter with De Graaf (mid) drilling the ball behind the FC Groningen goalkeeper. Seven minutes into the second half Kwakman (mid) was allowed to head freely on goal from a corner kick allowing the visitors to take a two-goal lead. In the final fifteen minutes of the game the hosts finally seemed to realize the seriousness of the situation building up the pressure of the goal of NAC Breda and resulting in the connection goal. However, despite the many absentees NAC Breda once again managed to secure the win with the team climbing to the fourth place in the ranking.

Odds for the home win can be found around $1.44 and given the away record of NAC Breda these seem about right. However, with NAC Breda winning their last two away games and having one of the best away records in the league this will be a no bet game for me.

SC Heerenveen – AZ, 23 August 2009 14:30 CET

SC Heerenveen grabbed their first win of the season at home to Vitesse with Losada (att) scoring his first competition goal for SC Heerenveen. After thirteen minutes in the first half the new signing opened the score with the hosts looking for their first win of the season after drawing against Roda JC (0-0) and losing 4-1 on the road to NEC. Once again SC Heerenveen did not manage to impress with Vitesse creating a handful of chances to level the score and team manager Sollied remains the favorite among the bookmakers in the sacking race of the Eredivisie. SC Heerenveen will host AZ on Sunday looking for revenge after their humiliating 5-1 defeat in the Dutch Super Cup earlier this season. The hosts will once again quite some missings with goalkeepers Vandenbussche (gk) and Steppe (gk) remaining sidelined. Elm (mid), Smarason (mid) and Djuric (def) are also expected to remain sidelined.

AZ Alkmaar recovered from their poor start of the season by winning their last two games against Sparta (2-0) and RKC Waalwijk (0-6). However, the game against SC Heerenveen will be the second real test of the season with RKC Waalwijk not giving any resistance last week allowing AZ to pick up a huge win. With El Hamdaoui (att) opening the score fifteen minutes into the first half it took until the second half for AZ to get their second goal. Dembele (att) doubled the lead for the visitors and two goals from Martens (att), an own goal from RKC Waalwijk and a goal from substitute Lens (att) led AZ to a comfortable 0-6 win. Team manager Koeman is expected to field the same eleven players on Sunday with Swerts (def) and Pelle (att) still sitting out a suspension after their red card against Heracles Almelo in the opening game of the season. Substitute Van der Velden (att) will most likely remain sidelined with a knee injury.

AZ seems to be back on track and despite the fact RKC Waalwijk failed to put any pressure on AZ in their last game, the team seems to be creating chances easily. Dembele (att), Martens (att) and El Hamdaoui (att) have found their scoring ways again and after the 5-1 win over SC Heerenveen earlier this season, confidence and quality should be enough to pick up three points in Heerenveen at odds above evens. Especially given the fact SC Heerenveen will play a midweek game in Greece for the Europe League on Thursday.

AZ to win $2.25 (5/10) (BetFred)

Feyenoord – Roda JC, 23 August 2009 16:30 CET

Feyenoord recorded their second win of the season against Heracles Almelo (0-1) last Sunday thanks to a goal from Tomasson (att) halfway the second half. Feyenoord played far from great and were quite frankly being given too much with the three points where a draw would have been a better reflection of the game. Feyenoord will host Roda JC on Sunday in a late kick-off and the team will be without Cisse (att) who picked up an injury against Heracles Almelo last weekend. Wijnaldum (mid), Fernandez (def) and Darley (gk) will most likely remain sidelined while Tiendalli (def) will be doubtful with a shoulder injury.

Roda JC picked up their first win of the season last weekend beating NEC 1-0 thanks to a goal from Junker (att) fourteen minutes after halftime. The game was not one of the best to watch with Roda JC trying to find their way through the NEC defense in the first half in which they did not succeed. In the second half NEC was given a good chance to open the score but a blunder from a NEC defender allowed Junker (att) to pick up the ball and net it behind the NEC goalkeeper to score his first goal for Roda JC in the competition. Roda JC will travel to Rotterdam without Gommans (att), Vandamme (att) and De Wree (def) while substitute goalkeeper Tyton (gk) will remain sidelined with a knee injury.

Roda JC remains undefeated in the Eredivisie so far picking up two draws and a win and the team will be traveling to Feyenoord knowing they won their last meeting in Rotterdam 2-3. However, it will be doubtful whether Roda JC will be able to repeat this trick and looking at the odds we can see they are about right with $1.50 being available for the home win. With Feyenoord still struggling and Roda JC getting more confidence by the week, a no bet game for me unless odds will rise above $1.60. Also given the fact that Feyenoord only managed to win two from their last five meetings in Rotterdam makes this a no bet game for me.

Preview Round 3
8/13/2009 8:06:11 PM

The third round of the Eredivisie with only two teams with the maximum amount of points: Ajax and FC Utrecht scoring six points from two games. Another profitable round with a net profit of +3.53 points bringing the season total to +10.13 units. In this round a lot of interesting games with a handful of bets, but also some games not to be touched. Let's take a closer look…..

Sparta Rotterdam – Willem II, 15 August 2009 18:45 CET

Sparta suffered their second consecutive 2-0 defeat last Friday not being able to impress in their game on the road to AZ. The hosts opened the score early on in the game and although AZ played far from great, Sparta omitted to score the equalizer despite the poor defending of AZ numerous times. Like in the game against FC Twente Duplan (att) was given some good chances to score and although the striker is able to position himself into promising situations, his finishing touch certainly needs some work. In both games this season Sparta did not manage to impress and the game against Willem II on Saturday will be an important one given the fact that both teams are mentioned as possible basement dwellers at the end of the season. Sparta most likely will miss three regulars for the game against Willem II with Slot (mid), Godee (att) and Knol (def) all picking up injuries.

Willem II suffered a 1-0 defeat on the road to FC Utrecht on Sunday in a game that was dominated by the home side. After winning their first game at home to Vitesse 3-1, despite getting down to ten men in the second half, we already suspected that the win was more based on the poor form of Vitesse rather than the impressive play of the home side. In the game against FC Utrecht this assumption was underlined with Willem II hardly managing to create any chances against a solid FC Utrecht. The hosts opened the score five minutes from halftime after wasting a couple of chances of doing so before and in the second half it seemed the hosts were satisfied with their one-goal lead, having not much to fear from Willem II. The team will travel to Rotterdam on Saturday to meet Sparta and Willem II will most likely be without Demouge (att), Akgun (mid) and Schenkel (def). Freire (mid) is confirmed to be out after picking up a hamstring injury in the game against FC Utrecht and the midfielder will remain sidelined for two months. Gregoire (mid) will return from suspension after missing the game against FC Utrecht last week.

ADO Den Haag – FC Twente, 15 August 2009 19:45 CET

ADO Den Haag grabbed a 2-2 draw on the road to VVV Venlo last Sunday but more importantly lost two important players with a red card in the second half. ADO Den Haag grabbed a 0-2 lead in the first half thanks to goals from Verhoek (att) and Van den Bergh (mid) but VVV Venlo managed to pull one goal back eight minutes from halftime. In the second half Soltani (att) received his second yellow card and with the hosts leveling the score fifteen minutes from time, the frustration on the side of the visitors was clearly visible resulting in a second red card and a massive battle on the field between the players of VVV Venlo and ADO Den Haag. With ADO Den Haag already missing Knopper (mid) and Rankovic (mid) on the midfield as well as three goalkeepers, the red cards for Van den Bergh (mid) and Soltani (att) couldn't have come at a worse moment leaving team manager Atteveld with limited options on Sunday.

FC Twente booked a 1-1 draw at home to PSV where the hosts were given a couple of excellent chances to change the score line to their advantage. FC Twente opened strongly and a falsely judged high ball into the penalty area allowed Douglas (def) to net the opening goal behind the struggling PSV goalkeeper. Six minutes later the visitors leveled the score in a situation in which Boschker (gk) didn't look too good. FC Twente continued looking for a goal with Douglas (def), N'Kufo (att) and Janssen (mid) being given some excellent opportunities. In the second half PSV seemed to grow a little stronger creating two huge chances to grab the lead, but both teams were unable to net the winning goal. FC Twente will travel to ADO Den Haag on Saturday looking to claim three points and the team will have a fully fit selection apart from new signing De Jong (att) who will remain sidelined with an ankle injury.

On paper this game looks more balanced than the odds suggest, but taking into account the many important missings on the side of ADO Den Haag the advantage shifts quickly to the away side. FC Twente played solid games against Sparta (0-2), Sporting Lisbon (1-1) and PSV (1-1) and I will be backing them with medium stakes at odds around $1.60.  Take into account that FC Twente won four from their last six games in Den Haag and drew the other two and this bet seems definitely worth taking. Theo Janssen (mid) has come close in scoring multiple times and fires easily on goal from the second line. Therefore taking him to find the net might pay off and is worth backing with small stakes, even better to take him at higher odds to score from outside the box.

FC Twente to win $1.57 (6/10) (General)
Theo Janssen to score anytime $3.05 (1/10) (Unibet)

RKC Waalwijk – AZ Alkmaar, 15 August 2009 19:45 CET

RKC Waalwijk remains without points so far in the Eredivisie after picking up a 4-1 defeat on the road to Ajax last Saturday. The team seemed to be able to cause a surprise until twenty minutes from the final whistle when Gudde (def) was sent off by the referee with his second yellow card. At that moment both teams had found the net once with De Ceulaer (att) leveling the score for RKC Waalwijk thirty minutes into the first half after the hosts had taken the lead twenty minutes earlier. However, three goals from Suarez (att) in the final twenty minutes of the game denied RKC Waalwijk from picking up a point with the team again having a tough game ahead with the ruling champions AZ visiting on Saturday. RKC Waalwijk will face AZ Alkmaar without the suspended Gudde (def) while De Ceulaer (att) and Jongsma (mid) are also ruled out picking up injuries in the game against Ajax last Saturday.

AZ grabbed their first win of the season last Friday beating Sparta Rotterdam 2-0 at home thanks to goals from Dembele (att) and El Hamdaoui (att). The hosts played far from great but found almost no resistance from a poor playing Sparta that created some decent chances in the first half but gave up fighting after the 2-0 from El Hamdaoui (att). The hosts opened the score six minutes into the first half with Dembele (att) netting the ball behind the Sparta goalkeeper but were very lucky no to concede the equalizer after poor defending and with Sparta striker Duplan (att) being set free alone in front of the goalkeeper. In the second half El Hamdaoui (att) doubled the lead for the hosts with his second goal of the season and although some fresh players were brought onto the pitch by team manager Koeman halfway the second half, AZ once again did not manage to convince. For the game against RKC Waalwijk on Saturday AZ will be without the suspended Pelle (att) and Swerts (def) while El Hamdaoui (att) will be doubtful picking up a knee injury.

Normally speaking this game is expected to be one-way traffic with AZ having far too much quality to slip up in Waalwijk. Odds are low…around $1.45 for the away win and given the fact that AZ lost their first away game and did not convince me in their game against Sparta I will keep away at these odds at this moment especially with the possible absence of El Hamdaoui (att).

SC Heerenveen – Vitesse, 15 August 2009 20:45 CET

Once again SC Heerenveen did not manage to convince last Friday losing 4-1 on the road to NEC after the disappointing 0-0 draw at home to Roda JC. After a good season last year the team totally seems to have lost track scoring only twice in three games (including the 5-1 defeat against AZ in the Dutch Super Cup) with the creativity in the team looking totally gone. SC Heerenveen was simply outplayed against NEC and the hosts were able to combine freely without getting interrupted much by the visitors. It took until five minutes from time for Papadopoulos (att) to score the first goal for SC Heerenveen in the Eredivisie this season and the team will host Vitesse on Saturday. SC Heerenveen will still have a few missings with goalkeepers Vandenbussche (gk) and Steppe (gk) most likely remaining sidelined. Smarason (att) is also not expected to be fit in time and Roorda (mid) will sit the game out with a long-term injury. Svec (def) will be welcomed back in the selection after missing the game against NEC last Friday.

Vitesse grabbed their first point in the Eredivisie last Sunday drawing 0-0 at home to Feyenoord. The hosts were given too little by this result with Vitesse dominating the first half and the biggest part of the second half. In the first half Kolk (att), Nilsson (att) and Claudemir (mid) were all given excellent chances to open the score but all failed to put the ball in the back of the net with Kolk (att) hitting the post from six yards. In the second half it was again Vitesse with the best of the play and once again the hosts were given two good chances on the opening goal. Halfway the second half Feyenoord grew a little stronger after making some changes in the team, but both teams did not manage to find a goal in the remainder of the second half. For the game against SC Heerenveen on Saturday Vitesse will have a fully fit selection apart from the substitute goalkeepers Graafland (gk) and Van der Sman (gk).

Vitesse played a more than decent game against Feyenoord and were unlucky not to score. With the scoring power of SC Heerenveen being way below par, the odds for the game are not quite what could be expected with SC Heerenveen being made the clear favorites to win the game. I will go against the flow in this one and side with Vitesse to grab at least a point in Heerenveen on Saturday.

Vitesse not to lose $2.20 (4/10) (Betfair)

PSV – Ajax, 16 August 2009 12:30 CET

The first "Classic" in the season will be between PSV and Ajax with four points separating the two teams in the ranking after two games. PSV booked a disappointing 3-3 draw at home to VVV Venlo in the first round and were lucky to pick up a point in Twente against the local FC last Sunday. The team has not yet managed to convince conceding four goals in two games and with Ajax visiting on Sunday, team manager Rutten will have to find a way to prevent the visitors from scoring. PSV played an average game against FC Twente with Dzsudzsak (mid) leveling the score halfway the first half after falling one goal behind six minutes earlier. It were the hosts with the better chances throughout the game but fifteen minutes from time PSV could have grabbed the full win with Koevermans (att) being set free alone in front of the FC Twente goalkeeper. For the game against Ajax PSV is expected to welcome back Rodriguez (def) in the defense while Engelaar (mid) will remain sidelined with a knee injury.

Ajax knew a good start of the season winning their first two games against FC Groningen (0-2) and RKC Waalwijk (4-1) and topping the ranking with a four point lead over PSV. In the game against RKC Waalwijk the team opened the score after ten minutes in the first half with Van der Wiel (def) scoring his first goal of the season. After half an hour of play the visitors leveled the score with Ajax seemingly taking the game too lightly and it took until twenty minutes from time to grab the lead again. Three goals from Suarez (att) within twenty ensured Ajax of the three points and Suarez (att) of his first hattrick of the season. For the game against PSV Verhoeven (gk) and Gabri (mid) will remain sidelined and team manager Jol will have the disposal over his strongest eleven players on Sunday.

Looking at the form both teams are in Ajax has to be given the advantage in this one. However, it must be said that Ajax has not been really tested playing against a very poor FC Groningen (0-2) and a home game against RKC Waalwijk (3-1). PSV had a trickier opponent in FC Twente (1-1) last week but since the games between PSV and Ajax are stand-alone games and the fact it's still very early in the season, not much value can be deducted from the previous two playing rounds. With all three results evenly possible a bet on Ajax would be the value option, but this early in the season it might be better to just sit this one out and to enjoy the (hopefully good) game.

FC Utrecht – VVV Venlo, 16 August 2009 14:30 CET

FC Utrecht booked their second win on Sunday beating Willem II 1- 0 at home. Other than the score line would suggest the victory was a relatively easy one with the hosts being in control the biggest part of the game preventing Willem II from getting real dangerous. The hosts opened the score six minutes from halftime where FC Utrecht should have scored at least two times before with Mulenga (att) being a real threat with corner kicks and high balls into the penalty area. In the second half FC Utrecht gave away the initiative of the game a little to Willem II but the visitors did not manage to put any pressure on FC Utrecht who secured an easy win to climb to the second place in the ranking. FC Utrecht will host VVV Venlo on Sunday and the team will most likely be without Schut (def), Keller (def) and Silberbauer (mid).

VVV Venlo booked a 2-2 draw against ADO Den Haag last Sunday in a game filled with yellow and red cards. ADO Den Haag grabbed a 0-2 lead halfway the second half but a goal from Honda (mid) brought the hosts back in the game. In the second half the game exploded after the red card of Soltani (ADO) and a questionable equalizer from Honda (mid) ten minutes later. The midfielder headed the ball onto the goal but it remained unclear whether the ball passed the goal line or not, leading to a lot of frustrations at the side of the visitors. After the 2-2 draw at home to ADO Den Haag and 3-3 draw on the road to PSV, VVV Venlo is on the tenth place in the ranking and the team will be traveling to FC Utrecht on Sunday. Timisela (def) will be doubtful after picking up a leg injury but apart from the defender VVV Venlo will be able to line-up their strongest selection.

Taking a look at the quality of both teams we can see that FC Utrecht has improved much over the summer with the signing of Mertens (att), Van Wolfswinkel (att) and Mulenga (att). With the greatest of ease FC Utrecht creates chances and if these chances can be translated into goals with a little more accuracy the hosts should be able to win this game. VVV Venlo surprised with the 3-3 against PSV two weeks ago, but a team that manages to neutralize Honda (mid) on the midfield should be able to book a comfortable win. However, the odds seem about right and therefore I will take my chances on the goal scorer market taking Mulenga (att) and Honda (mid) to find the net at tasty odds. Mulenga (att) was given a few free headers on goal in the game against Willem II and it could be called a small miracle for the new signing not to find the net. In case VVV Venlo manages to score against FC Utrecht, Honda (mid) will be the most likely candidate to do so and after banging in three goals in his last two games.

Mulenga to score anytime $3.00 (2/10) (Unibet)
Honda to score anytime $3.75 (1/10) (Unibet)

Heracles Almelo – Feyenoord, 16 August 2009 14:30 CET

Heracles Almelo remains unbeaten in the league so far after a goalless draw in Breda last Sunday in front of an empty stadium. Both NAC Breda and Heracles Almelo clearly had some trouble playing without any public and apart from a good chance for Dost (att) halfway the second half, the visitors did not manage to become really dangerous. After booking a 3-2 win over AZ in the first playing round the team seems full of confidence for the clash with Feyenoord on Sunday and for team manager Verbeek it will be a reunion with the club he was sacked by last Christmas. Heracles will have a fully fit selection for the game against Feyenoord apart from Maertens (def) and the long-term injured Steur (att).

Feyenoord picked up (or better…saved) a point in Arnhem last Sunday drawing 0-0 against Vitesse. Feyenoord had not much to tell in the first half and the visitors were lucky not to fall behind early in the game with the hosts creating a handful of chances throughout the first half. In the second half it was once again Vitesse taking the initiative leading to the substitution of Makaay (att) and De Guzman (mid). For Makaay (att) this was the second game in a row in which the striker was substituted within the hour and although it's been denied, there are some rumors about a possible struggle between team manager Been and the Feyenoord striker. With Makaay (att) being one of the best paid players in the selection, the management of Feyenoord would like to see him go to relieve them of the salary requirements. For the game against Heracles Almelo the team is expected to welcome back Van Bronckhorst (def) while Wijnaldum (mid) and Darley (gk) will remain sidelined.

After beating AZ 3-2 two weeks ago Heracles Almelo looks ready to repeat this trick against Feyenoord on Sunday. The team plays on an artificial pitch which makes it a little more of a challenge for visiting teams to grab a result and with the poor form of Feyenoord, the advantage lies with the home side. However, the odds seem about right for this game and since I can find no other angle, another 'no bet' game in this playing round.

Roda JC – NEC, 16 August 2009 14:30 CET

Two points from two games for Roda JC after their 1-1 home draw against FC Groningen last weekend. The hosts opened the score thanks to a goal from Hadouir (att) nineteen minutes into the first half but after half an hour of play it were the visitors leveling the score. With FC Groningen getting down to ten men shortly after halftime Roda JC failed in putting immediate pressure on the visitors and it took until fifteen minutes from time for the hosts to create some danger in front of the goal. Roda JC will miss a few substitute players for the game against NEC on Sunday with Tyton (gk), Gommans (att) and Vandamme (att) remaining sidelined and the team will be looking to pick up their first three points of the season.

NEC booked a 4-1 win over SC Heerenveen last Friday in a game the hosts dominated from the first minute on. An early goal from Vleminckx (att) allowed the hosts to take a quick lead and in the second half NEC cruised to a four-goal margin before SC Heerenveen managed to pull one goal back five minutes from time. After losing 2-0 on the road to Feyenoord in the first round NEC climbed to the eight place in the ranking and the team will travel to Roda JC on Sunday. Defenders Sibum (def) and Otten (def) are expected to remain sidelined while Saidi (att) has not returned from his disciplinary ban. New signing Vleminckx (att) seems the man to follow with the Belgian striker scoring easily and working on his way to become the public favorite.

It's hard to tell the form of both teams after two games with Roda JC looking a little more solid than last year and NEC making up for the poor start on the road to Feyenoord against SC Heerenveen. The odds for the game are about right and although I expect NEC not to lose on the road to Roda JC this weekend, my money won't be riding on this game.

FC Groningen – NAC Breda, 16 August 2009 16:30 CET

FC Groningen grabbed a 1-1 draw on the road to Roda JC last Saturday thanks to a goal from Lovre (mid) halfway the first half. The hosts opened the score after sixteen minutes in the first half but a perfect strike from the Groningen midfielder allowed the visitors back in the game. All attacking intentions from FC Groningen in the second half could be thrown overboard six minutes after halftime with Holla (mid) picking up a red card meaning automatically missing the game against NAC Breda on Sunday and FC Groningen having to continue with ten men. The visitors managed to defend the draw despite being put under pressure in the final ten minutes of the game, with Van Loo (gk) performing a few excellent saves. For the game against NAC Breda on Sunday the team will miss Holla (mid) due to a two-game suspension, first goalkeeper Luciano (gk) with a knee injury, midfielder Andersson (mid) with a knee injury and the presence of Garcia (att) will be doubtful with the striker picking up a knee injury.

NAC Breda booked a goalless draw at home to Heracles Almelo on Sunday in front of an empty stadium due to a penalty from the KNVB after a firework incident last season. Nobody was quite happy with the situation and both Heracles Almelo and NAC Breda seemed to be influenced heavily by the absence of the crowd, with only a handful of chances being created throughout the ninety minutes. In the first half the hosts got close in opening the score twice thanks to efforts from Amoah (att) and Loran (def) and in the second half both teams could have picked up three points with Dost (att) missing alone in front of Ten Rouwelaer (gk) and Lurling (att) not managing to curl the ball over the fingertips of the Heracles goalkeeper. NAC will be without team captain Penders (def) on Sunday and Van der Leegte (mid) is also expected to miss the game in Groningen.

FC Groningen has not been the team from last season yet although playing a good first half against Roda JC last Saturday. The team has not been able to cope with the departure of Berg (att) and the team may also lose defender  Granqvist (def) to AZ somewhere during the next two weeks. NAC Breda has been playing solid over the last few weeks, having played more games thanks to their European campaign and with the confidence in the team being quite high at the moment I can see them picking up at least a point in Groningen, especially considering the fact that NAC Breda holds one of the best away records in the league over the past two years.

NAC Breda not to lose $2.00 (4/10) (Betfair)

Preview Round 2
8/6/2009 1:55:27 PM

A good start of the season with FC Utrecht, NAC Breda and Feyenoord winning their games and securing a + 6.6 unit profit in the first round. Second round will again be a tough round to predict with no real obvious bets apart from Ajax to beat RKC Waalwijk perhaps, but let's take a better look to see if we can find some angles.

NEC – SC Heerenveen, 07 August 2009 18:00 CET

NEC suffered a 2-0 defeat on the road to Feyenoord last Sunday in a game the visitors failed to score despite creating some more than decent chances. El Kabir (att) and Schöne (mid) omitted to open the score in the first five minutes and a huge blunder from Van Eijden (def) five minutes later allowed the hosts to take an early and mostly very easy lead. In the second half NEC started pressing for the equalizer but failed to create many chances before Feyenoord decided the match from eleven meters fifteen minutes from the final whistle. For the game against SC Heerenveen the hosts will have to do without Saidi (att) and the long-term injured Sibum (def) with the former being suspended due to disciplinary actions after refusing to play with the youth of NEC last Monday.

SC Heerenveen yet again failed to impress after their 5-1 defeat against AZ for the Dutch Super Cup, booking a goalless draw at home to Roda JC last week. The team managed to create some good chances, especially in the first half, but the departure of Pranjic (def) over the summer has left a big gap in the creativity of the team. SC Heerenveen signed two new players this week with Losada (mid) coming over from Anderlecht (Bel) and Lejsal (gk) from 1. FC Brno (Cze). Both players will be on loan for one season and  Lejsal (gk)  has been in the picture of Feyenoord before, but the Rotterdam team could not meet the salary requirements of the goalkeeper.

AZ – Sparta Rotterdam, 07 August 2009 20:45 CET

AZ knew a false start of the season losing 3-2 on the road to Heracles Almelo. The hosts opened the score early in the first half and expanded their lead to a three-goal margin fifteen minutes after halftime. Two quick goals fifteen minutes from time allowed AZ back in the game, but the visitors did manage to force their way to the equalizer, being denied a stone wall penalty five minutes from the final whistle.  Although the defeat did not come unexpected given the fact that AZ is always seems a slow starter each season, the red cards of Pelle (att) and Swerts (def) did leave team manager Koeman with much more to think about. Both players will be suspended for four games and for the game against Sparta on Friday Holman (att) is expected to be included in the starting eleven to replace Pelle (att).

A 0-2 home defeat at to FC Twente last Saturday gave Sparta the honor to close the lines in the table this week with the team becoming the first basement dwellers along with NEC and FC Groningen. Sparta did not play a very poor game but a defensive blunder allowed FC Twente to take the lead where Sparta omitted to find the net with Duplan (att) and Poepon (att) who were both  given excellent chances on the equalizer shortly before halftime. In the second half FC Twente doubled their lead and broke the resistance of the hosts and the visitors were allowed to cruise to an easy win. Sparta will have a fully fit selection for the game against AZ on Friday except for Falkenburg (att) who will remain sidelined with a muscle injury.

Odds for the home win are low and given the fact that AZ are not the best starters of the season and the fact they suffered a small blow last weekend and therefore will be under a little pressure in order to perform at home, I will leave this one alone. Basically, the only good performance of AZ in the last few weeks has been the 5-1 win over SC Heerenveen where the team lost to more serious opponents as Hamburger SV (Ger) and Club Brugge (Bel) without scoring a goal. With Van Gaal still in charge I would have gone all-in for this game but I have my doubts about the motivational qualities of Koeman. However, the home win will be the most likely outcome here but my money won't be riding on AZ this weekend.

Ajax – RKC Waalwijk, 08 August 2009 18:45 CET

Although having a tough start on paper, Ajax knew an excellent begin of the season grabbing a 0-2 victory on the road to FC Groningen last Sunday. A goal from Sulejmani (att) just before halftime allowed the visitors to take a one-goal cushion into halftime and Rommedahl (att) doubled the lead half an hour into the second half. The funny thing is that Rommedahl (att) officially was allowed to leave the club but the Danish player of the year has played an important role in the results of Ajax in the preparation period and seems to have proven to be able to strengthen the team. Ajax has a few missing for the game against RKC Waalwijk on Saturday with Gabri (mid) sitting out with an Achilles tendon injury and Sulejmani (att) being doubtful with a knee injury.

RKC Waalwijk suffered a 0-1 defeat against FC Utrecht upon their return in the Eredivisie due to an early goal in the first half. According to team manager Brood this was a huge mental blow of which the team did not manage to recover and this was shown during the rest of the game where the visitors should have scored at least twice more. RKC Waalwijk signed a new player this week with Metaj (def) coming over from FC Groningen to replace Snoyl (def) who left to NAC Breda over the summer. In their second game RKC Waalwijk will travel to Amsterdam and after a defeat in the first game, the team could have wished for a better opponent to recover against. The good news for RKC Waalwijk is that the team is free from injuries and/or suspensions, but I fear this fact alone will not be enough to grab points away from home against Ajax.

A home win is expected which is reflected in the odds with $1.17 being on offer in general. Although the odds are low I really can not imagine another outcome than a home win  so therefore I will take Ajax with this one with high stakes with a side bet being any sending off in the game since there might be some frustration within the RKC Waalwijk team after a most probable second defeat.

Ajax to win $1.17 (9/10) (General)

Sending off in the game $4.90 (1/10) (Unibet)

Roda JC – FC Groningen, 08 August 2009 19:45 CET

A goalless draw on the road to SC Heerenveen last Friday was a result that made team manager Van Veldhoven a happy man. After a very poor season last year -in which Roda JC barely managed to survive in the Eredivisie after a miraculous escape on the last match day winning on the road to Feyenoord- the morale in the team has strengthened. Despite missing some important players Roda JC managed to book a good result in Heerenveen and the team actually deserved the draw. For the game against FC Groningen on Saturday Roda JC will again miss a handful of players but the greatest miss will be Kah (def) who remains suspended after picking up a red card at the end of the last season. Junker (att) and Hadouir (att) will be able to play after  making their re-appearance against SC Heerenveen.

FC Groningen suffered a 0-2 defeat at home to Ajax and despite the fact that games against Ajax are always something special up north, the hosts did not seem to make a very eager impression. Of course, FC Groningen missed their key striker Berg (att) who made a move to Hamburger SV (Ger) but FC Groningen did not make the impression to believe in a good result. The team will travel to Limburg on Saturday to visit Roda JC and FC Groningen will have some good memories from the last seasons winning three from their last four meetings against Roda JC. The team will miss Luciano (gk) who picked up a knee injury against Ajax last Sunday and also Andersson (mid) will remain sidelined with a knee injury.

Vitesse – Feyenoord, 09 August 2009 12:30 CET

A poor start of the first half and some bad luck with the referee were the causes of the 3-1 defeat to Willem II last Saturday. Vitesse knew a terrible start of the match and it seemed the visitors did not realize the competition had already started. Within four minutes Willem II opened the score after Sprockel (def) failed to intercept the ball from a Willem II winger allowing the hosts to open the score. Saves from Velthuizen (gk) and Stevanovic (def) kept Vitesse in the game but a goal from Willem II after half an hour of play gave the hosts a much deserved two-goal lead. Some hard words during halftime ensured Vitesse to show up in the second half with a different attitude and after pulling one goal back the equalizer just seemed a matter of time especially with Willem II getting down to ten men. However, a razor sharp counter in the final minute of the game restored the two-goal lead for the hosts with Vitesse being left empty-handed.

Feyenoord had a better start of the season grabbing a 2-0 win over NEC at home without playing very convincing. Ten minutes into the first half Tomasson (att) was allowed to open the score after poor defending from the visitors and with NEC creating no real chances, Feyenoord did not need a strong performance to be able to defend their lead. In the second half Fer (mid) doubled the lead from eleven meters but the most remarkable moment of the game was the replacement of Makaay (att) during halftime leading to a lot of rumors about a conflict between the top striker and team manager Been. Feyenoord will travel to Vitesse on Sunday and the team will have a fully fit selection apart from Darley (mid) will remain sidelined with a knee injury.

Feyenoord played far from great last week while Vitesse underperformed and will be looking to erase the bad taste of the defeat against Feyenoord. The game is promising to be a clash with both teams ready to go all out for the win. Therefore I will take my chances on the red card market, especially this early in the season where referees will try to set the pace for the rest of the season.

Sending off in the game $4.80 (1/10) (Unibet)

NAC Breda – Heracles Almelo, 09 August 2009 12:30 CET

NAC Breda continued their amazing away record with a 1-2 win over ADO Den Haag last Sunday thanks to some razor sharp counters. In a game that was dominated by ADO Den Haag Lurling (att) opened the score for the visitors two minutes from halftime and with a second half that showed the same image it was once again NAC Breda finding the net with Amoah (att) firing an assist from Lurling (att) behind the ADO goalkeeper. The hosts managed to pull one goal back but the visitors managed to defend their lead thanks to Ten Rouwelaer (gk) who performed the most impossible and amazing saves throughout the game. NAC Breda will play in front of an empty stadium on Sunday due to a penalty from the KNVB after a firework incident last season. However, big screens will be place inside and outside the stadium for a live feed with the parking lot which is expected to attract 10,000 people. NAC Breda will once again miss Elshot (def) and Penders (def) in the defense while Van der Leegte (mid) will remain sidelined with a foot injury. The team will be defending a 1-0 lead over Polonia Warschaw (Pol) in the third round of the Europe League on Thursday and will have a two-day rest period to the game against Heracles Almelo.

Heracles Almelo grabbed a deserved 3-2 victory over AZ Alkmaar last Saturday after a fine collective performance. The hosts opened the score early in the first half with Everton (att) finding the net and in the second half goals from Overtoom (att) and Fledderus (mid) allowed the hosts to take a three-goal lead. Heracles Almelo appeared to cruise to an easy victory but almost gave away their lead with AZ scoring twice thirteen minutes from time and being denied a penalty in the final minutes of the game. A turbulent end of the match with two red cards for the visitors brought back some rest in the defense of the hosts with Heracles securing their first three points of the season.

Odds for the home win seem about right, but given the fact NAC Breda will have a game on Thursday in the Europe League, they will be playing in an empty stadium and Heracles may be boosted by their win over AZ last week I will leave this game alone at these odds.

VVV Venlo – ADO Den Haag, 09 August 2009 14:30 CET

VVV Venlo was responsible for the first real shock result in the Eredivisie this season. Not only did they manage to keep PSV to a draw in Eindhoven, but also did they manage to score three times in a 3-3 draw. The hosts opened the score and being 2-0 up at halftime, the hosts seemed to cruise to an easy victory. However, goals from Ahahaoui (att) and Honda (mid) in the second half allowed VVV Venlo back in the game. Eight minutes from time PSV took the lead again but three minutes later Schaken (att) leveled the score once again to give the visitors a deserved point. The newcomers in the Eredivisie will host ADO Den Haag on Sunday and many will see this game as a battle between two possible candidates for relegation. VVV Venlo will have a fully fit selection apart from Boymans (att) and will be strengthened by the result against PSV last week.

ADO Den Haag suffered a 1-2 defeat at home to NAC Breda last Sunday with the team failing to translate their abundant chances into goals. It could be called a small miracle that the visitors managed to keep a clean sheet until ten minutes from time with ADO Den Haag hitting the woodwork frequently and otherwise not managing to get the ball past the NAC Breda goalkeeper. ADO Den Haag will be traveling to VVV Venlo on Sunday and the team has a long list of absentees with Rankovic (mid) picking up a knee injury in the first minute of the game against NAC Breda last week and remaining sidelined for the rest of the season. Knopper (mid) is expected to remain sidelined with a knee injury. Three goalkeepers of ADO Den Haag will miss the game against VVV Venlo with Waterman (gk) and Zwinkels (gk) picking up a groin and knee injury respectively and third goalkeeper Coutinho (gk) being arrested last week for hosting a weed farm. It is expected that the 44-year old keepers trainer Stam will make his appearance in the goal on Sunday.

ADO Den Haag played a very good game against NAC Breda last week and were unlucky not to grab at least a draw. My first thoughts were backing them especially at odds around $4.80, however, the goalkeeper problem kept me off. VVV Venlo will be boosted by the result against PSV and if they can keep their form they are able to grab a win. The odds are right for this game and since I can find no other angle, again a game I will leave alone.

FC Utrecht – Willem II, 09 August 2009 14:30 CET

FC Utrecht booked a 0-1 victory over RKC Waalwijk last Saturday in a game the visitors should have won with a higher score line. After three minutes in the first half Van Wolfswinkel (att) opened the score for the visitors and the striker lightened up his debut for FC Utrecht in the Eredivisie with an early goal. The hosts seemed thunder struck after falling behind early in the game but with FC Utrecht omitting to increase their lead RKC Waalwijk kept hope for a good result. However, FC Utrecht managed to survive easily and will be aiming to continue their winning ways against Willem II on Sunday. FC Utrecht will mostly likely be without Keller (def), Somers (mid) and Silberbauer (mid) while Schut (def) will remain sidelined. Vandenbergh (att) will be able to make his appearance again after an administrative blunder which disallowed him to play against RKC Waalwijk.

Willem II grabbed a somehow unexpected 3-1 home win over Vitesse last Saturday with some luck in the final ten minutes of the game. The hosts opened the score in the first half with Gregoire (mid) finding the net after poor defending from Vitesse and with the hosts keeping the pressure on the goal of the visitors it was Boutahar (mid) doubling the lead after half an hour of play. In the second half a second yellow card for Gregoire (mid) allowed Vitesse back in the game with the visitors pulling a goal back one minute later and slowly taking over the initiative in the match. Two balls on the woodwork and the denial of a stone wall penalty in the final ten minutes of the game allowed Willem II to keep their lead and a well performed counter attack in the final minute of the game secured the hosts of three points and the lead in the ranking.

FC Utrecht played a strong game against RKC Waalwijk and their only omission was to increase the score line. Willem II will miss some players against FC Utrecht and their win over Vitesse was in my opinion more caused by the poor play of Vitesse in the first half rather than the impressive performance of Willem II. FC Utrecht will be looking to continue their winning ways and they should be able to bang in some goals against Willem II looking at the way they created chances against RKC Waalwijk.

FC Utrecht to win $1.62 (5/10) (General)

FC Twente – PSV, 09 August 2009 14:30 CET

FC Twente suffered a huge blow last week after drawing 1-1 against Sporting Lisbon in the Champions League preliminary round due to 94th minute goal from the visitors. FC Twente opened the score early in the game thanks to a header from Douglas (def) but forgot to score the liberating second goal. With Sporting Lisbon not creating many chances a corner kick was deflected of the leg of Wisgerhof (def) with the defender curling the ball behind his own goalkeeper. It will be very interesting to see how FC Twente will react on this huge blow against PSV on Sunday after winning their first competition of the season against Sparta 0-2 thanks to goals from N'Kufo (att) and new signing Ruiz (att). In their last four meetings against PSV the hosts remained without a win but secured three draws and looking at the form of PSV at this moment there seems no better time to break through that negative record.

PSV hugely disappointed last week by drawing 3-3 at home to VVV Venlo giving away a 2-0 lead in the second half and a 3-2 lead five minutes from time. In the first half the hosts opened the score with Amrabat (att) finding the net after half an hour of play and Toivonen (att) doubled the lead four minutes from halftime. In the second half two goals from the visitors leveled the score again but eight minutes from time Toivonen (att) seemed to secure the three points for PSV with his second goal of the evening. However, three minutes later VVV Venlo once again managed to find the equalizer underlining the problems for PSV, who will defend a 1-0 lead –thanks to a 90th minute goal from Marcellis (mid)- over Cherno (Bul) away from home on Thursday in the Europe League.

Odds for the home win can be found up to $2.75 and these seem well worth taking. If FC Twente can turn the switch and are ready to give everything in order to try to play away the hangover from last Tuesday, I can see them cause some trouble in the PSV defense. Defensively, FC Twente seems more than all right and with Ruiz (att), N'Kufo (att) and Stoch (att) they will be able to create some danger up front. Add the fact that PSV will travel to Bulgaria on Thursday and they will play away from home once again on Sunday, I think we have a great bet here at these prices.

FC Twente to win $2.75 (4/10) (General)
